What does it cost to list?
Nothing for you. Guests pay a 9% service fee on top of your price. The listing wizard shows their total before you submit.
Do I have to finish my listing in one go?
No. Your draft saves as you go, and you can leave and come back. Pick it up from your host dashboard.
When does my listing go live?
After you submit it. We review it first. Once it’s approved, guests can book it. Every listing needs at least five photos. You can unpublish a live listing anytime.
Is it an experience or a service?
An experience is something guests join, like a class, a tour, or a tasting. A service is something you do for a client, like a photo shoot, a massage, or a private dinner. Not sure? Pick the closest one. You can list both.
How do guests pay, and how do I get paid?
Guests pay online when they book. You get paid after.
Who can host on Gathra?
Anyone 18 or older who can meet guests in the United States. You set your price, your hours, your group size, and your cancellation policy.
Do I have to verify my ID?
No. An ID check is optional. If you pass it, guests see a Verified Host badge on your profile. You can list without it.
Where is Gathra available?
The United States only. Founding host spots are open across the US. If guests can meet you there, you can list it.
